jewellery care
Caring for jewellery is nothing complicated – it is mostly a matter of building a habit, much like brushing your teeth or washing your hands. RAdezain uses a range of materials: stainless steel, copper, cords in various materials and more. Here are the most important tips for making your jewellery last longer.
- Jewellery does not like moisture – avoid direct contact with liquids. Always take your jewellery off before going into the sea, a swimming pool or a sauna.
- Do not wear jewellery while doing housework – chemicals can seriously damage its colour.
- Your jewellery does not tolerate big changes in temperature and needs protection from sunlight, cold and other extreme conditions.
- Do not sleep in your jewellery! Chains and cords can tangle into knots, and details such as cords, pendants and necklaces can break.
- Keep your pieces separate from one another – in a velvet pouch, a small box or on a jewellery stand. That way they do not rub against each other and no unwanted scratches or other damage occur.
- When you can, wipe them with a soft velvet cloth after wearing.
